The number one compliment I get from people (you, strangers and friends on TikTok and Instagram, strangers at the grocery store, my students…) is that I have really pretty hair. People have been DMing me and stopping me to ask what I use for so long that I decided to finally put together a post of all my products (all cruelty-free btw) and hot tools that I use. I hope this post bestows upon you the same smooth, shiny hair that I strive for!

I haven’t written in almost an entire year. Here’s a brief explanation of what’s kept me away, my plans moving forward, our annual holiday card, and a very exciting announcement.
The holidays are such an important time for small businesses. The money they make between Halloween and New Year can make or break their entire fiscal year. With so many small businesses closing this year due to covid, let’s try to help give some owners (and boss babes, because I’m very proud to tell you that most of this list is female-owned and operated) some support to see them through these tough times. I’ve tried a number of things to sleep better: melatonin, ZzzQuil, more exercise… the list goes on. Finally, after years of trial and error and nights of restless sleep, I found a few things that work for me. If you’re a “bad sleeper” like I am, hopefully some of these methods can offer you a better night’s rest too.

It’s short (in comparison). It’s inexpensive and quality stuff, and it features products I use and recommend, and some I’m really excited to try.
Like many, I’ve been working from home the last few weeks. Also like many, it’s taking some adjusting. It’s hard on my mind and body, especially because we don’t have space for a home office. First of all, get your mind out of the gutter because what I’m talking about some good old-fashioned, wholesome fun you and your roommate/spouse/partner/person-who-is-stuck-inside-with-you can do to put down the phone, step away from the news, and enjoy some quality time together inside as we continue to try to flatten the curve.
So… you’re stuck inside. Now what? Well, Iβve got your solution… maybe. To be honest, this list probably has a lot of films and shows youβve already seen, but Iβm throwing it out there anyways. It’s mostly light-hearted shows and movies because I feel like thatβs what I need right now, and maybe you do too.
