My Cruelty-Free Hair Care Routine

The number one compliment I get from people (you, strangers and friends on TikTok and Instagram, strangers at the grocery store, my students…) is that I have really pretty hair. People have been DMing me and stopping me to ask what I use for so long that I decided to finally put together a post of all my products (all cruelty-free btw) and hot tools that I use. I hope this post bestows upon you the same smooth, shiny hair that I strive for!

A Few of My Favorite Things

I used to do a monthly roundup of my current most used and loved products, but for some reason, I stopped. I’m not sure why this monthly roundup ended, but I’m very excited to bring it back. Scroll through to see and shop some of my current favorites.

July Favorites

With our recent move, I missed my June Favorites post, so I’m happy to revive it this month. I’ve doubled down on this post by including a bunch of things that I would have liked to include in the June post if life (and 800 boxes) hadn’t gotten in the way. This month’s favorites cover some favorites in home, beauty, and style. Enjoy!

April Favorites

April is drawing to a close, so it’s time channel my inner Maria and share a few of my favorite things from this month.

*Cue me twirling around on a mountain top holding my April Favorites a la The Sound of Music.*

7 Amazon Boots Under $35

I get a lot of compliments on my shoes, and no one can ever believe that I get most of them on Amazon! Not all of my Amazon shoe purchases have been winners, but I’ve rounded up my favorite Amazon boots under $35 (complete with links).

Shower Products for Sensitive Skin

I’ve always had super finicky skin, so I have to be mindful of the products I use. Luckily for sensitive skin sufferers like me, I had a realization in the shower (as one does) a few mornings ago: I finally have a really great set of products that work with my sensitive skin! And what’s even better is that all items are available at Target and/or Amazon, which means they are affordable! The most expensive product on this list is only $12!
